Alex de Renzy

Alexander de Renzy (13 August 1935, Brooklyn, New York - 8 June 2001) was an American director and producer of pornographic movies. After serving in the United States Air Force as a survival instructor, he began making documentary films in San Francisco and attended Sex 69, the first porn trade show, in Copenhagen in 1969. His first movie, Pornography in Denmark, was released in 1970 when he was 34. His films include the 1970s classics Babyface (1977) and Pretty Peaches (1978); he introduced Annette Haven, Desiree Cousteau and Juliet Anderson to adult film, won the Adult Film Association of America award for Best Director for Babyface, and was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame and the XRCO Hall of Fame. In 1991 he reinvented himself as Rex Borsky and shot over 200 hardcore videos.
