Jessica Drake, born Angela Patrice Heaslet, grew up in Texas, studied psychology in El Paso, worked as a house dancer, began posing for magazines and appearing on Playboy TV, shot her first adult film in 1999, was a Sin City contract performer until 2002, signed exclusively with Wicked Pictures in 2003, won AVN Awards for Best Actress for Fluff and Fold, Manhunters and Fallen, co-hosted the 2007 AVN Awards, made her directorial debut with What Girls Like in 2008, and later worked as a sexual-wellness educator.
