Lasse Braun

Lasse Braun (born Alberto Ferro, 11 January 1936, Algiers — some sources give 8 April 1936; died 16 February 2015, Rome) was an Italian pornographer, film director, producer, screenwriter and author. From 1966 he shot short hardcore loops that he sold to Reuben Sturman for American peep-show booths, then made full-length films including French Blue (1974), Sensations (1975) and Body Love (1977), three of which were shown at the Cannes Film Festival. In 1999 he became the first European director inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame. His son Axel Braun followed him into adult filmmaking.
