Mark Shannon (born Manlio Cersosimo; 8 December 1939 in Rome, Italy - 11 May 2018) was an Italian pornographic actor active mainly from 1979 to 1988 and cast, often as protagonist, in more than 30 Italian adult films, many produced, lensed and directed by Joe D'Amato. He was the first Italian male protagonist in Italian cinema performing non-simulated sex on screen and has been called the first Italian 'pornodivo'. Before pornography he worked at the Bank of Italy from 1965 to 1975 and as a tourist guide.
