Sunset Thomas, born Diane Fowler on February 19, 1972 in Sikeston, Missouri, was runner-up for Penthouse Pet of the Year in 1998, was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2001, the Porn Block of Fame in 2002, the Legends of Erotica Hall of Fame in 2009 and the XRCO Hall of Fame in 2010, retired from performing by 2006, later wrote the erotic fiction novel Anatomy of an Adult Film (2009), and is the aunt of performer Sunrise Adams.
